What Matters Ministries and Missions is a partner-based, non-profit organization.
Their vision is to impact and change the global crisis of forgotten, abused, and discarded children and widows in developing countries by providing self-esteem and value through education, housing, food, and health care. Their children are rescued from sex-trafficking, violent abuse, malnutrition and neglect. They walk through the gates of Casa Angelina into healing, health, hope, and abundance. They are Turning Orphans Into Royalty, and you can be a part of it!
When children are brought to Casa Angelina, they are not just provided for, but are also rescued from a destructive path that would lead to the cycle of poverty, abuse, and brokenness continually repeating itself through the generations of their families. We firmly believe that education is the most powerful way we can equip and prepare our children in order for their rich destinies to come to pass. Many of our children have never attended school, and because of the abuse they have suffered, they have behavioral problems that create challenges for them to simply sit in class. Knowing this, we are very aware that we cannot rely solely on a wonderful curriculum. We must connect to the heart of each child and help impact them as individuals. We hope the contrasting quality of life and education that the children experience will be the first step in helping them aspire to be more. All donations are an incredible blessing and go directly to the care, support and education of our children at Casa Angelina.
These children become family the minute they arrive at the facility.
Ivan Tate and his wife had the vision and made Casa Angelina into reality for the kids that call it home!
Being the hands and feet of Jesus cannot be replaced! Donating is great, but actually being a part of the team traveling to provide the labor needed to complete projects, deliver supplies and just spending time with those in need is undeniably an experience that will change you forever!
We would love to connect with you to share details on our next mission trip.
